Karen Chetcuti, MD
Consultant Radiologist & Lecturer in Radiology, Kamuzu University of Health Sciences
As a radiologist working in a low-resource setting, Chetcuti is frequently asked, “What is your work like in Malawi?” This presentation will give listeners insight into her practice context with reference to healthcare wins, challenges, and aspirations of this fascinating setting, particularly regarding clinical radiology.
Discussion following Chetcuti’s remarks will be moderated by her Washington University colleague, Manu Goyal, associate professor of Radiology. This program is part of Washington University’s Africa Speaks series, presented in partnership with The Africa Initiative.
This event will take place virtually on Brown School’s Open Classroom. Please note, registration will close at the end of day the day prior to the event date.
