Heather Cameron is helping girls in Africa punch through barriers to become tomorrow’s leaders. She’s the founder of the organization Boxgirls International, a non-profit teaching girls life skills in South Africa and Kenya. Cameron has consulted for the International Paralympic Committee, and also founded Camp Group, another organization that helps educate and mentor young adults, which won the Google Impact Challenge for its educational tool for refugee children.

Cameron is the Michael B. Kaufman Professor of Practice in Social Entrepreneurship at the Brown School.
