Dr. David Clifford leads the Global Scholars in Medicine program in Ethiopia and works closely with doctors at Mekelle University’s Ayder Hospital on expanding access to health care through the nonprofit People to People. Dr. Clifford is the Melba and Forest Seay Professor of Clinical Neuropharmacology in Neurology. He has also performed research on HIV in Kenya, South Africa, Guinea Bissau, The Gambia, and Senegal.
