Andrea Godshalk is Graduate Student Lecturer and a doctoral candidate in Sustainable Urbanism at the Sam Fox School. Her research and design work in Kenya, Uganda, and South Africa looks at cooperatively owned ecological sanitation and community based system dynamics for sustainable urban design. She helped lead a Department of State Professional Fellows exchange program focused on urban food systems with leaders from the U.S, Kenya, and Uganda, in addition to contributing to the Sam Fox Johannesburg Studio and Informal Cities Workshops.
