Proscovia Nabunya’s research is focused on HIV-stigma reduction interventions; family and community-based support systems as protective factors for the development and wellbeing of children; and poverty reduction strategies. She is the assistant director of the Africa Initiative and co-director of the International Center for Child Health and Development (ICHAD) at WashU. Nabunya is working to develop interventions to address HIV stigma and its associated risks among children and families.
