Lee Ratner, MD, PhD

Dr. Lee Ratner leads the Kaposi’s Sarcoma Working Group of the AIDS Malignancy Consortium that is conducting clinical trials in six African countries. He is a professor of oncology in the School of Medicine. Kaposi sarcoma, which affects the skin or lymph nodes, is one of the most common forms of cancer in sub-Saharan Africa and Dr. Ratner is working on ways to treat it better.
